Hi everyone,

As you may know, I spent the last 5 days in New York for a wedding.

I had a great time in New York

NYC is absolutely one of my favorite cities, I’ve always loved Sex in The City so I feel like I can pretend to be Carrie when I’m here! My favorite part is Soho and the Meat Packing District, it’s so chic and I feel so at home.

I tried to be nice while I was away – I even attended Soul Cycle with the bride and groom and did a Results with Lucy HIIT session in my hotel room – but I was there for the wedding of my friend so I couldn’t resist all the time! My spin class certainly meant I could have guilt-free cocktails and finger foods.

The wedding lasted for three days so it was great for me to meet a lot of new people and get to know each other before the wedding day. We took a private cruise to see the Statue of Liberty which was one of the highlights of the trip for me.

One of my favorite parts of the wedding was we all had to change into maxi dresses for the evening, which I absolutely loved doing. I was wearing a gorgeous red dress from my shop, we got so many emails about it that I know it was definitely the perfect choice.

This week’s video is all about doing arms and crunches at the same time! I love working two muscle groups at the same time, you really feel it works and it’s double the work.

This move uses dumbbells, so grab them and get ready. In a plank position on your hands, grab your weight and pull towards your chest. Keep your elbow up. Do this for 10 repetitions on each side and repeat three times.

My week at the gym

The beauty of when I travel is that I can always access the results with Lucy, there are so many workouts you can do in your hotel room so there really is no excuse! I did a few spin classes in New York to continue preparation for the Tour De Celeb as well. The energy at Soul Cycle was amazing, a great place to feel the burn.

Personally, I like to do a few workouts when I’m away because I find it boosts my energy and makes me feel great, but there’s no need to stress about it, if I don’t. time, everything is fine as I am far away to have fun.

It’s the same with food too, especially in New York when you’re surrounded by pizza, pretzels, and ice cream! I try to keep my meal as healthy as possible, so I had eggs and salmon, along with Greek yogurt and granola, but I also allow myself to have treats like cocktails or tortilla chips.

We are often asked how to curb hangover cravings as it tends to be the downfall of people, so I decided to share with you my favorite (and healthy) hangover remedy.

I love eggs after a few drinks – these egg breakfast muffins are great for headache relief!

List of ingredients: 6 eggs 1 chopped onion, 4 slices of cooked and crumbled bacon, 1/2 red pepper, 2 handfuls of chopped spinach leaves, 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt, black pepper to taste, oil olive, muffin boxes or muffin tin (for 6 muffins)

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and add a tiny bit of olive oil to your muffin pan (if using one).

2. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with S&P. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.

3. Divide the mixture evenly among 6 cups and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the eggs are set in the center.

4. These can be stored for 3 days in the refrigerator.

I find it really sad and frustrating that we are all subject to criticism about our appearance, especially when this person is working hard on their figure! I think it just stems from the fact that we are all so used to seeing retouched and retouched images that we hardly believe what we are seeing is true.

We should be proud of our health and fitness journeys and it is up to that person to decide how they want to share their success. I really don’t like it when people feel like they can criticize other people when they don’t know their background, which is something I’m really against.

We are all at different stages of our journeys and people shouldn’t be judging on individual stories.

Choose the style to suit my shape

In addition to fitness, I also love fashion! I really like experimenting with my looks, so I never rule out a particular style before trying it out.

I tend to like outfits that are cinched at the waist or accentuate the waist because this style makes me feel strong and feminine, and I always think it’s important to showcase your assets.

Personally, I usually avoid dresses with a lot of floatiness as I find they don’t flatter my figure, but other than that I’m always happy to try something new! My style is quite feminine but sophisticated, so I tend to avoid tight mini dresses as I would feel uncomfortable.
